Receptive Tremor Syndrome

Receptive Tremor Syndrome, sometimes called idiopathic tremor syndrome, is a condition in which pets—most often dogs—develop rhythmic, involuntary shaking. Tremors may affect the whole body or specific areas and can become more noticeable during excitement or stress. Because tremors can also occur with metabolic, neurological, or toxin‑related issues, any persistent shaking should be evaluated by a veterinarian.
