Canine Parvo V. (CPV, CPV-2c) Support

Canine Parvovirus (CPV) is a highly contagious viral infection that primarily affects puppies and young dogs. The CPV-2c strain is one of the most severe and aggressive forms seen in practice.

This Members Only support set is designed to assist with:

  • Maintaining hydration and electrolyte balance

  • Supporting immune resilience during viral challenges

  • Providing comfort support for gastrointestinal distress (vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain)

  • Aiding recovery from weakness and loss of appetite

Important Guidance

  • Sub-Q fluids, electrolytes, and careful hydration management are often lifesaving.

  • These formulas may be used alongside veterinary treatment to support natural resilience.

Educational Note

Parvo outbreaks are often seasonal and widespread in certain regions. Dogs that survive the acute stage with supportive care have a strong chance of full recovery. Ongoing immune support and gut healing remedies are recommended for several weeks afterward.

Customer response

“My puppy was diagnosed with parvo and the prognosis was very poor. He was so weak, couldn’t keep food down, and the vet said it was touch and go. I used the formulas along with the fluids and electrolytes, giving small frequent doses just like suggested. Within 24 hours I could see his strength returning — he started drinking on his own and even wagged his tail.
By the third day, he was eating small amounts of food again.
I truly believe this support gave him the extra help he needed to pull through.”

DISCOUNTS

Puppy VitalGuard 312 mix is available in 200ml bottles for Shelters and Canine Rescue Centers. One bottle is sufficient to support hundreds of dogs and puppies in a shelter setting.
In the meantime, adding Vitamin C to meals two to three times daily will also help while waiting for the formula.

NEW STRAIN OUTBREAKS

In the event of a local outbreak, it is important to add Vitamin C to meals twice daily.
If symptoms or risk is high, repeat up to six times a day for added support.

LONG-TERM PROTECTION

Rose Hip Tea is naturally high in Vitamin C and may be used as part of long-term prevention.
Alternatively, dilute Sodium Ascorbate Vitamin C powder in water and dose with meals.

  • Small dogs/puppies: 1 teaspoon

  • Medium to large dogs: 1 tablespoon
This approach has been used by some farmers as a supportive measure.

JAB SIDE EFFECTS

Veterinary references, such as those by Dr. George McLeod DVM, have documented that nosodes can be used to support pets exposed to infection. In his clinical practice, nosodes have shown protective qualities in dogs that were in direct contact with infected animals.

However, it is not possible to protect a pet (or human) from the effects of heavy metals contained within injections. Jabs often contain the live virus protein itself along with additives, and while nosodes may support resilience against infection, they cannot counter the toxic load from these additives.

Natural Pet Botanicals Recommendations formulas are both effective and gentle in supporting the whole body, you support your own animal or pet at home, and in almost every single case we improve vitality and longevity. If you are dealing with any metabolic or immune issue with your pet, we suggest that you contact us for a consultation so we can ensure you are using the right products.

* Natural pet botanicals are not intended to replace veterinary care or medication. Our formulas are offered as an alternative health support for your animal's condition and not as a cure. All our oral supplements are to be consumed voluntarily by your animal in food, treats or liquid.
