Educational Overview
Undescended Testicles
Undescended testicles, also known as cryptorchidism, occur when one or both testicles fail to move into the scrotum before or shortly after birth. This condition can affect many species, including dogs, cats, horses, and livestock.
Common Causes
- Genetic predisposition affecting normal testicular descent
- Hormonal imbalances during fetal development
- Developmental abnormalities in the inguinal canal
- Premature birth increasing the likelihood of incomplete descent
- Trauma or scarring in the inguinal region (less common)
Common Signs
- One or both testicles missing from the scrotum
- Palpable testicle located in the abdomen or groin area
- Behavioural changes similar to intact males (if one testicle is present)
- Increased risk of testicular torsion or discomfort
- No obvious external signs in some animals, especially if abdominal
Diagnostic Approach
- Veterinary physical examination to locate the retained testicle
- Ultrasound imaging to identify abdominal or deep‑seated testicles
- Hormone testing to confirm presence of functional testicular tissue
- Review of breed history and genetic risk factors
- Assessment for complications such as torsion or tumour development
Recognizing undescended testicles early helps support timely veterinary evaluation and reduces long‑term risks such as infertility or testicular cancer.

SET OF
Educational Purposes
In some young animals, one or both testicles may not descend naturally into the scrotum.
This condition, often noticed in puppies, can place extra strain on the body and may require additional care and support.
We need to encourage balance in the body’s developmental processes, while helping reduce associated discomfort or stress. This support can be given alongside regular veterinary monitoring to promote overall wellbeing and harmony during growth stages.
Formulated with plant-based ingredients selected for their gentle role in supporting overall balance and wellbeing.

How Long Until Results?
In most cases, improvement may be noticed within a couple of weeks, especially when the recommended vitamins and minerals are added daily to meals. These include:
-
ReMyte Minerals (12 mineral blend)
-
ReMag Magnesium liquid (or Magnesium Glycinate powder from capsules)
-
Vitamin E (Wheat Germ Oil) – supports hormone production and protects the pituitary gland from oxidative stress.
Cold-pressed vegetable oils such as safflower oil, or plain cold-pressed wheat germ oil, can also be added to meals.
Dosage Suggestions
-
Puppies or other small young animals:
Add ½ capful (approx. 10 drops) of ReMyte + ReMag + 1 capful of Wheat Germ Oil (Vitamin E) into meals twice daily.
-
For infant animals on milk:
Add the same mineral drops and wheat germ oil into the milk drink, twice daily.
Do not use low-quality or poorly absorbed forms of magnesium.
