Fluids given subcutaneously are best tolerated when they are close to body temperature.
Fluids that are too cold may cause stress, discomfort, slowed absorption, and temporary circulatory changes, particularly in cats with kidney compromise.
Maintaining thermal comfort supports smoother absorption and overall wellbeing.

The SUBQ fluids are literally a life saver medicine. Sent to us by NPB after our cat went into a toxic coma. Ziggy came back to life after 80ml. instructions were clear and easy to follow. Place the needle under ziggys skin. He loves it. Every night he sits in front of me and we have made this now a little ritual. Really important to warm it before administering to 41 degrees. Used to take me 15mins now I get the whole process done in 5mins. Cost effective too! Highly recommend SUBQ...x
always have this product on hand

I believe one should always have this product on hand. I do think it has helped save my one cat. She went into a deep depression after her sister died and this definitely helped her to fight her way back and gain her strenght.
I wish I had done this years ago! Brilliant results.

Oh my goodness!
I can't begin to tell you how nervous I was about giving my 10 year old cat Samson fluids subcutaneously.
He has chronic constipation issues and had gotten terribly skinny and out of sorts. Samson is a very sensitive soul and I didn't know how he would react to me piercing his skin with a needle. I know that I am skittish towards needles! It took me a couple of days to gather up the nerve to give Samson the fluids .
I re-read the well detailed instructions over and over again and even looked up a video on the procedure. I needn't have worried at all. Samson was brilliant! Me too for that matter! Very easy to administer, the needle went through like butter and my fears about Samson bolting away were dismissed because the moment the fluid ( which I had warmed up beforehand) started to trickle under his skin he started to purr loudly. He continued to purr right through to the last drop. The results were instant. Gone was the lethargy as Samson got up, circled me a few times while headbutting and smooching as if he was thanking me. Straight away his eyes looked brighter and alert .
I continued the treatment for a week and noticed Samson didn't look so scrawny.
It helped his constipation issue for a little while. Now that I'm an "expert" I will continue giving Samson the sub q fluids from time to time when needed. This treatment is well worth exploring and I strongly recommend it to anyone to try.
I wish I had done this years ago! Brilliant results.
This is a must have

I think every pet owner needs to have these fluids at hand in case of emergencies. With both my dogs ill with gastroenteritis at the same time I was able to keep them hydrated when they couldn't keep any water down without vomiting it up right away.
Cannot recommend this highly enough

Cannot recommend this highly enough - I use this in combination with kidney remedies to help flush toxins out. My lab cross Jack actually looks forward to to having this and wags his tail and has a bark in the garden afterwards.
