Cachexia is a condition that causes extreme weight loss and muscle wasting. It is a symptom of many chronic conditions (degenerative conditions of the spine), such as cancer, chronic renal failure, FIV (Feline Aids).

Glycine Amino acid powder

Dosage Suggestion:

Small pet, Cat, Toy Dog

Add 1 teaspoon in dissolved in a cup (approx. 240ml) of filtered water, stir well, then each meal time  pour 2 TBS into daily meals, twice a day.  Could also stir in 1 teaspoon of powder to water dish every time you change it.

Equine, Large to med Farm animals to Med to Large Dog

Add 1 teaspoon in dissolved in a cup (approx. 240ml) of filtered water, stir well, then each meal time  pour 1/4—1/2 cup into daily meals, twice a day.

C
ow, Swine or other farm animals
Add to some molasses and put on some food or treat. Could also stir in 2 teaspoon of powder to water dish every time you change it or Water trough or bucket of water.

INCREASE AMOUNT OVER A FEW WEEKS IF NEEDED

Renal Failure, other degenerative conditions like Cancer. FIP rtc:
Add ¼ teaspoon (a good pinch of powder) in some food. As they need to eat food small quantity but regular meals (which puts less stress on the kidneys) Feed day and evening ... as I notice cats will often eat more during the night.

Studies done
The non-essential amino acid, glycine, is often considered biologically neutral, but some studies indicate that it could be an effective anti-inflammatory agent. Since inflammation is central to the development of cancer cachexia, glycine supplementation represents a simple, safe and promising treatment.    We tested the hypothesis that glycine supplementation reduces skeletal muscle inflammation and preserves muscle mass in tumor-bearing mice. To induce cachexia, CD2F1 mice received a subcutaneous injection of PBS (control, n = 12) or C26 tumor cells (n = 32) in accordance with the protocols developed by Murphy et al. [Murphy KT, Chee A, Trieu J, Naim T, Lynch GS. Importance of functional and metabolic impairments in the characterization of the C-26 murine model of cancer cachexia. Dis Models Mech 2012;5(4):533-545.]. Subcutaneous injections of glycine (n = 16) or PBS (n = 16) were administered daily for 21 days and at the conclusion of treatment, selected muscles, tumor and adipose tissue were collected and prepared for Real-Time RT-PCR or western blot analysis. Glycine attenuated the loss of fat and muscle mass, blunted increases in markers of inflammation (F4/80, P = 0.01 & IL-6 mRNA, P = 0.01) and atrophic signaling (MuRF, P = 0.047; atrogin-1, P = 0.04; LC3B, P = 0.06 and; BNIP3, P = 0.10) and tended to attenuate the loss of body mass (P = 0.07), muscle function (P = 0.06), and oxidative stress (GSSG/GSH, P = 0.06 and DHE, P = 0.07) seen in tumor-bearing mice. Preliminary studies that compared the effect of glycine administration with isonitrogenous doses of alanine or citrulline showed that the observed protective effect was specific to glycine. Glycine protects skeletal muscle from cancer-induced wasting and loss of function, reduces the oxidative and inflammatory burden, and reduces the expression of genes associated with muscle protein breakdown in cancer cachexia. Importantly, these effects were glycine specific.

Glycine deficiency, can also manifest in various other ways, including fatigue, muscle weakness, digestive issues, and cognitive impairment.  Severe deficiencies can also impact collagen production and wound healing, and may be associated with developmental delays and other neurological problems.

Fatigue and Muscle Weakness:
Glycine plays a role in muscle function and energy production, so deficiency can lead to weakness and fatigue.

Digestive Issues:
Low glycine levels can affect stomach acid production and gut lining integrity, potentially causing digestive discomfort.

Cognitive Impairment:
Glycine is involved in neurotransmitter function, and deficiency may impair cognitive function.

Wound Healing:
Glycine is crucial for collagen synthesis, which is essential for wound healing. Deficiency can hinder the healing process.

Developmental Delays:
In some cases, particularly with enzyme deficiencies affecting glycine metabolism, developmental delays in speech, motor skills, and intellectual development may occur.

Neurological Problems:
Deficiencies can lead to neurological issues like seizures, particularly in infants and children, due to the role of glycine in brain function.

Other Symptoms:   Depending on the specific deficiency, other symptoms can include failure to thrive, upper respiratory infections, and skin changes.

  • Gone into the light

My cat was euthanized Saturday! I may have left treatment to late a stage of last stage cancer growth.

  • I'm very happy with the product

Posted by Nancy Ingargiola on 17th Sep 2013 (Verified Customer)

So far, I've been using the salve to bring the mass out. It is working somewhat. It brings it out and it falls off. I've been using the bleed pain support also. The mass certainly has not grown and I'm happy with that. I'm very happy with the products ability to extract the mass and blood.

  • We would firstly like to express our satisfaction

Posted by Sylvain Baudouy on 11th Nov 2012 (Verified Customer)

We would firstly like to express our satisfaction on your treatment we have received for our cat. Our cat, Bambou, is suffering from fibrosarcoma on the shoulder and we treated him with the detox and fibrocell. After four months the tumour has been greatly reduced. Our vet is most impressed with the result. I am thus encouraged to keep on applying the treatments on my cat, Bambou, until the tumour disappears and will reorder in due course. Our cat is also suffering from a kidney disorder, and it seems that RenoAid and PotassAid have been really helpful in reducing his thirst, though we can't strictly monitor how often he urinates. We live in France where we don't have access to homeopathic treatments for animals and are very grateful quick reactivity to our requests.

  • Suchi is alive and well today.

Posted by Carine and Ernest on 2nd Jun 2012 (Verified Customer)

About 2 years ago I contacted you regarding my cat Suchi.
She had been diagnosed with a spindle cell tumour. One of your Practitioners recommended using Herbal C and fibrocrell and one other product to support this condition. We did as you recommended and in about a year the tumour is gone. Needless to say we were ecstatic and Suchi is alive and well today.
