Polycystic Kidney Support 

Polycystic kidney conditions are characterised by the formation of multiple sacs of fluid within the kidney structure. These cysts are often linked to dropsy (intracellular edema) — a state where cloudy swelling and fluid accumulation interfere with proper cellular balance.

When the kidneys become congested, lymph stagnation often follows. This stagnation prevents the proper elimination of metabolic wastes, leading to an inflammatory response and swellings in various parts of the body. Over time, this burden can weaken circulation, disrupt detoxification, and create a cycle of toxin build-up.

Important – Clearing Toxic Waste (Azotemia & Uremia)

When kidney function is impaired, waste products can begin to accumulate in the bloodstream. Two of the most concerning are urea nitrogen (BUN) and ammonia. Activated Charcoal Support
A traditionally valued method for binding and clearing toxins is the use of activated charcoal:

• Open 2 capsules of activated charcoal powder into a cup of filtered water.

• Place into a jar with a lid and gently shake to mix.

• Add a couple of tablespoons or more to every meal, on an ongoing basis.

If your pet refuses food:

• Oral syringe small sips into the side of the mouth.

• Approx. 5 ml for a cat or toy dog, or 10 ml for larger pets.

This simple addition may help reduce the toxic burden, supporting vitality and comfort while the kidneys are under stress.

SUBQ Fluids & Kidney Support

Subcutaneous (SUBQ) fluids may sometimes be needed for a short while — or as often as required — while the body is healing. They can be especially helpful during times of digestive upset, vomiting, nausea, or loss of appetite, when hydration is critical but drinking is insufficient. Testing Notes

• An Albumin test (Proteinuria) can help detect excessive or continuous protein in the urine, which may indicate early kidney stress.
