Skin Mange Around the Face and Eyes
Mange is a term commonly used to describe mite-related skin irritation that can affect animals. When it occurs around the face and eyes, the skin in these areas may become red, irritated, crusty, or itchy due to the sensitivity of the tissue and the animal’s frequent rubbing or scratching.
Facial mange is often associated with:
-
Compromised skin barrier function
-
Immune or stress-related imbalance
-
Environmental or seasonal challenges
Because the skin around the eyes is thin and delicate, irritation in this area may appear more pronounced. Supporting overall skin health, immune resilience, and gentle cleansing of the affected area is an important part of maintaining comfort.
Early observation and appropriate veterinary guidance are recommended whenever facial skin changes are noticed, particularly near the eyes.
Natural pet botanicals are not intended to replace veterinary care or medication. Our formulas are offered as an alternative health support for your animal's condition and not as a cure.
