Add 3–4 drops or a few pills into a cup of filtered water, stir well, then take approximately two tablespoons of this mixture and add it to each meal. This can be continued for two weeks or longer, if required. A larger amount (about four tablespoons) may also be added to a pet’s water bowl or trough once a week.
Frequency of Application
In situations where animals may be run down, malnourished, or recovering from overbreeding, this routine can be continued for one to two months.
Farm Animals, Birds, Dogs, Cats
Stir one capful of liquid into a litre or more of water, mix well, then add one cup of this solution to a water trough once weekly for a month. The process can be repeated every three months if desired. A capful may also be added directly to daily meals.
Caged Birds
Add 3–4 drops into a clean spray bottle filled with filtered water. Gently tap the bottle against the wrist for about one minute to activate. Using a fine mist spray, lightly spray towards the bird’s face from a short distance, ensuring droplets reach the feathers. A few drops may also be sprayed over food. Alternatively, drops can be applied to the feathers between the shoulder blades, provided the bird is comfortable being handled.
Kennels & Rescue Shelters (Canines & felines)
Several drops or a few pills can be stirred into the water bowl once weekly, or whenever water is refreshed.
Expelling Live Worms (Note on Disposal)
If worms are passed, they may be safely contained by sealing them in a plastic bag and placing in the freezer for a few days before disposal.
