It has also been used historically to support throat and respiratory comfort, as well as being recognised as a nourishing food source during times of recovery. Today, it remains a versatile natural ingredient that can be blended into warm water, smoothies, or functional recipes, offering a mild, earthy taste and a soft, mucilaginous texture. Slippery elm continues to hold a respected place in natural wellness traditions, celebrated for its role in everyday care and nourishment. • She is doing well

Posted by Michelle Crowley on 10th Oct 2008 (Verified Customer)

I rescued a little devon rex cat earlier this year. She had been neglected and subsequently had stomach ulcers. At times it became so bad she was near death. she could not eat for anything up to 8 days she had to be subcut with fluids and despite a variety of conventional meds failed to really improve. It had got so I had decided the next attack i would have her put to sleep as the pain that poor little girl was going through was terrible. She would not move just lay there being sick. I tried your ulcer treatment. after 6 hours she asked for food! another hour after she had stopped being sick....that was 3 weeks ago and we have not looked back since. It was just amazing she had suffered so much in her short life I really wanted to get to the bottom of this. Well thanks to you She is doing well even her curly black coat has a shine to it now. Thank you once again shelley and betti
