Equine Hoof & Mobility Balance – Set of 3

$102.85

A carefully selected combination of natural, plant-based and mineral ingredients, traditionally associated with maintaining healthy circulation, supporting hoof integrity, and encouraging overall comfort in horses.

This set is designed as part of a broader approach to supporting equine vitality and resilience, especially during times when the hooves and legs may be under stress.

Educational Note on Magnesium and Equine Wellness

Magnesium is an essential mineral for horses, contributing to healthy nerve and muscle function, calm behaviour, and overall wellbeing. Horses with low magnesium in their diet may show signs such as restlessness, reduced appetite, or muscle tension. Ensuring adequate magnesium intake helps support balanced energy, muscle comfort, and healthy metabolic processes.

In traditional and research-based equine nutrition, magnesium has also been discussed for its role in maintaining normal hoof and muscle health, encouraging balanced circulation, and assisting the body in coping with physical stress. Researchers, such as those at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh, have explored magnesium’s potential contribution to equine wellness and resilience, particularly in horses facing metabolic or musculoskeletal challenges.

By promoting calmness, supporting strong bones through calcium balance, and encouraging smooth muscular function, magnesium remains a vital element of equine dietary care.

Magnesium and Potassium – Vital Minerals for Balance and Energy

Magnesium is an essential mineral involved in more than 300 enzyme reactions throughout the body. It is present in all tissues, with key roles in the bones, muscles, and nervous system. Magnesium is traditionally valued for helping maintain healthy muscle function, supporting energy production, and contributing to calmness and relaxation.

Potassium is another vital mineral that supports the normal functioning of muscles, the gastrointestinal tract, kidneys, heart, and nerves. It is required for the proper balance of fluids and the smooth communication between cells, helping maintain overall vitality and wellbeing.

Together, magnesium and potassium are key minerals that contribute to energy, balance, and resilience, supporting the body’s natural processes every day.

Magnesium – The Relaxation Mineral

Magnesium is often referred to as the “relaxation mineral” because of its vital role in supporting calmness, muscle comfort, and overall balance in the body. Found in bones, muscles, and the nervous system, magnesium contributes to energy production, enzyme activity, and the smooth functioning of muscles and nerves.

When magnesium levels are low, the body may feel tense or restless, and energy balance may be affected. In animals and people alike, maintaining healthy magnesium levels is important for overall wellbeing, calm behaviour, and resilience to stress.

Magnesium has been traditionally valued for:

  • Encouraging healthy muscle function and relaxation

  • Supporting calmness and balanced mood

  • Assisting the body in energy production and vitality

  • Helping maintain steady rhythms in the body’s natural processes

  • Supporting bones by balancing calcium utilisation

Different forms of magnesium are available, with some known for their high absorbability and gentle action. For example, magnesium glycinate is a chelated form often considered well absorbed and less likely to upset the digestive system.

Magnesium remains one of the most important minerals in the diet, essential for hundreds of natural processes in the body. Adequate intake supports relaxation, balance, and resilience for long-term wellness.

  • I used the formula to ease her pain

Posted by Violet Forward on 16th Aug 2021 (Verified Customer)

I found this product ideal to relieve pain when my horse had a laminitis attack. I bought my first pack several years ago and used it when required. I have just finished it so have bought a replacement so that when and if required I can use it. Just recently my horse had an accident and banged her head. I used the formula to ease her pain. great product. I have tried to access from the UK but have been unable to find a supplier.
