Medicinal Herbal studies -
California Poppy (Eschscholzia californica) According to studies, the plant contains a range of different alkaloids including sangunarine, californidine, prtopine, chelidonine and escholzine. It also contains essential oil and carotenoids as well as glycosides such as quercetin and rutin. These diverese chemical compounds give California poppy a number of medicinal properties including sedative, anxiloytic, antihistamine, analgesic, antispasmodic, febrifuge and nervine properties.  California poppy as herbal supplement show analgesic, anxiolytic and sedative effects. Rolland et al. (1991) reported that the aqueous extract reduced the behavioral performance in mice with regard to novelty preference, locomotion and rearing in two compartments parameters measured (in a familiar environment test). Further, the California poppy extract treated mice underperformed in the staircase test (non-familiar environment tests). These findings support the traditional use of California poppy herbal extract to induce sleep due to sedative properties.  Reference: https://ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC10017456/

I want to say thank you, as Chester my horse has not fitted for the last 12 months.
Before I started using your companies herbs he was fitting every week. We are really relieved and happy with this alternative treatment. The drugs he was on did not help him feel well or happy. Thank you so much Doug and Georgie

  • has been seizure-free for several months

Posted by Kellie Walsh on 13th Aug 2021 (Verified Customer)

We are about 1/4 way through the seizure support (canine) course as recommended. My labradoodle has been seizure-free for several months and I am very hopeful that this will really help him. He is a champion at taking his herbs (thank goodness for the labra part of his mix!) and his B6 daily. I appreciated the literature about his condition that came with the order. I really like to learn as much as I can to help my family (furry and otherwise). Thanks so much!

  • Highly recommend it!!!!!

My mums 8 year old terrier started suffering seizures after a trauma and it comes in waves ,sometimes he didnt have them for long periods of time but as hes getting older theyve gotten more frequent so a friend suggested the Seizure support!! well i have to say ,he's only been on it going on 2 months and already his seizures [hes only had a couple] are very minor and we can see them getting less frequent and much less intense!! so i truly believe this product is to thank for that!!!!Highly recommend it!!!!!

  • Very pleased with your products

Posted by Veronica Brook on 13th Aug 2021 (Verified Customer)

Have only been using this formula on my Koolie, Dali for a short while. Fortunately (fingers crossed) she has not have a seizure recently and I'd like to think it's the formula that helps. I made sure I give her the blood sugar formula daily as I read somewhere that this helps epileptics. Very pleased with your products - this is not the first type. Let me also say that dealing with you is a very pleasant experience as you are very helpful and supportive.

  • Thanks so much!

We have almost finished our first course of the seizure support (canine). My Border Collie reminds me when she is due for her drops and I have been providing the recommended vitamin supplements as well - the information provided is very helpful. Thanks so much!

  • very impressed

Posted by Judi Esola on 19th Jan 2008 (Verified Customer)

My name is Judi and I am a seniour Vet nurse working in a vet clinic in Jersy (USA). my dogs name is Rudi, a doberman rescuded from a breeder who left him caged all day. Just letting everyone know I have now weaned Rudi off all of his previous drug medications as of January 29th. And have been using the formulas that you provided for him. He is doing wonderfully, he has had no seizures to date and the change in his behavior & attitude is remarkable. He is more aware of his surroundings and wants to participate in whatever is going on. His PU/PD has normalized. He sleeps through the night most of the time. If I hadnt accidentally found you, I would not have imagined there was anything else I could do for Rudi, and I had reached a turning point in his life that was pointing to euthanasia. The boss (our Vet here) is very impressed with Rudi's progress & even said he may go to a holistic vet seminar meeting this weekend. He is the owner of the practice & the only one I had not convinced that the holistic approach works. The other 2 vets have been very supportive & interested in Rudis progress. Thank you so very much, you are a very special person, and for all the time you have given us. .. God Bless from the bottom of our hearts (especially Rudis.) USA.
