Goldenseal - Goldenseal has been shown in the research to be both Anti-Microbial and antiviral. It is possible that berberine (a major component of goldenseal) also kills a wide range of other types of germs in test tubes, such as those that cause candida (yeast) infections and parasites such as tapeworms and Giardia. Berberine may also activate white blood cells, making them better at fighting infection and strengthening the immune system.
Dandelion leaf  (Taraxacum Officinale)  (is different to the root which has a focus on balancing digestive and liver health, this herb is potent diuretic used to flush the bladder and relieve symptoms)
Yarrow  (Achilles millefolium) Fights bacteria. Yarrow has an antiseptic action. The bitter parts and fatty acids encourage bile flow out of the gallbladder, known as the cholagogue effect. The free-flowing action improves digestion and prevents and gallstones from forming.
Milk Thistle (aka St Mary’s Thistle) (silymarin)  is an herb that's been used for thousands of years to support liver, kidney, and gall bladder health. It contains the flavonoid silymarin, which is thought to be responsible for many of its beneficial effects, including liver protection and antioxidant, anti-viral, and anti-inflammatory properties. Milk thistle contains silymarin and silybin, antioxidants that are known to help protect the liver from toxins.
Peppermint – motion sickness, restore appetites in dogs.
Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium)  anti-fungal, anti-stomach viral, anti-parasite.
Gentian (Gentiana lutea) A well known ‘bitter’ tonic, gentian has been used for centuries to improve digestion. It stimulates the flow of digestive juices including saliva and bile, and helps stimulate gut movement. Gentian improves appetite. Gentian is used to stimulate digestive activity whenever this is necessary. It is also used to treat digestive complaints such as dyspepsia, gastritis, diarrhoea, nausea and heartburn.
Lavender - can help digestive issues such as vomiting, nausea, intestinal gas, upset stomach, and abdominal swelling. Lavender also contains various potent antioxidants like polyphenols which will cure and heal the infections or inflammation that occurs in your body, whether externally and internally. While a lavender plant itself isn't toxic to your cat, formulations from the plant can be. Your cat can eat a huge amount of lavender and may suffer only get an upset stomach.
CandyTuft (iberisamara) - may help relieve gastrointestinal complaints – boosts digestion – stimulates appetite. Nervous stomach problems and irritable bowel syndrome are among the widespread consequences of tension and an unhealthy diet. Digestive problems such as flatulence and a feeling of fullness are also common. Plant-based stomach drops are therefore booming. The medicinal plant bitter candytuft is contained in one of the much-advertised stomach drops: in Iberogast. It is also sold as a plant extract or tincture.
