Educational Information:
Note on Young Animals
Diarrhea is very common in young animals (infants, foals, kittens, birds, piglets, calves, etc.). After worms have been ruled out, the next most likely cause is Coccidiosis (Dysentery).
For supportive care, see the DysenClear 141 Set, which has been traditionally used for coccidia-related dysentery and scouring. It may also help clear up diarrhea associated with coccidia and rotavirus in young calves.
Possible Salmonella Food Poisoning
Pets can sometimes be infected after consuming food contaminated with Salmonella bacteria.
Typical Symptoms in Dogs & Cats:
Some cats may not show diarrhea but may still present with decreased appetite, fever, or salivation.
Supportive Options:
-
If vomiting is also present, consider Vital Defense 70 formula.
-
For gastric discomfort, see Stomach Rescue 89-1 formula.
Important Note:
The detection of Salmonella or other bacteria in processed pet food will usually trigger a recall, as the food is considered adulterated and not fit for distribution.

Cats & Dogs: Add 2 scoops of powder once daily to meals.
Equines: Add 1–2 scoops in a little water and give by oral syringe daily if possible.
Recommended minimum use: 2 months to support restoration of healthy gut flora.
Special Note for Young Animals (Infants, birds, foals, kittens, piglets, calves):
If diarrhea persists, the likely culprit after worms is Coccidiosis (Dysentery).
For this, see the Dysent-Clear 141 the Natural Plant-Based Formula Set, traditionally used for scouring, coccidia, and related diarrheal conditions.
These conditions are often misdiagnosed as colitis (IBS) or acute diarrhea.
