Diarrhea Health Support - Set of 2

$39.93

This carefully selected set is traditionally valued for helping to settle the digestive system, ease discomfort, and support healthy bowel balance. It may assist pets experiencing loose stools, digestive upset, or sudden dietary changes. Designed to be gentle yet effective, this combination offers natural support for restoring comfort and promoting resilience in the gut.

Educational Information:

Note on Young Animals

Diarrhea is very common in young animals (infants, foals, kittens, birds, piglets, calves, etc.). After worms have been ruled out, the next most likely cause is Coccidiosis (Dysentery).

For supportive care, see the DysenClear 141 Set, which has been traditionally used for coccidia-related dysentery and scouring. It may also help clear up diarrhea associated with coccidia and rotavirus in young calves.

Possible Salmonella Food Poisoning

Pets can sometimes be infected after consuming food contaminated with Salmonella bacteria.

Typical Symptoms in Dogs & Cats:

  • Diarrhea (may contain blood or mucus)

  • Vomiting

  • Fever

  • Tiredness / lethargy

  • Decreased appetite

  • Excess salivation (more often in cats)

Some cats may not show diarrhea but may still present with decreased appetite, fever, or salivation.

Supportive Options:

  • If vomiting is also present, consider Vital Defense 70 formula.

  • For gastric discomfort, see Stomach Rescue 89-1 formula.

Important Note:

The detection of Salmonella or other bacteria in processed pet food will usually trigger a recall, as the food is considered adulterated and not fit for distribution.

Probiotic Support – Targeted Strain for Gut Balance

A carefully chosen probiotic yeast that helps support and restore healthy gut flora.
This strain, Saccharomyces boulardii (SB), has been widely studied for its role in maintaining a balanced gastrointestinal environment and supporting recovery in cases of imbalance, overgrowth, or bacterial disruption.

✔ Traditionally associated with candida overgrowth and gastrointestinal balance
✔ Helps maintain microbial equilibrium in the gut
✔ Supports both prevention and recurrence management
✔ Suitable for cats, dogs, and equines

Directions for use
Cats & Dogs: Add 2 scoops of powder once daily to meals.
Equines: Add 1–2 scoops in a little water and give by oral syringe daily if possible.
Recommended minimum use: 2 months to support restoration of healthy gut flora.

Special Note for Young Animals (Infants, birds, foals, kittens, piglets, calves):
If diarrhea persists, the likely culprit after worms is Coccidiosis (Dysentery).
For this, see the Dysent-Clear 141 the Natural Plant-Based Formula Set, traditionally used for scouring, coccidia, and related diarrheal conditions.
These conditions are often misdiagnosed as colitis (IBS) or acute diarrhea.

Item 2.
Slippery Elm Bark (Ulmus rubra)

This product contains 100% pure, natural powdered inner bark of Ulmus rubra, traditionally valued for its gentle, soothing qualities. For centuries, the inner bark was prepared as a gruel or tea, where it was appreciated for providing a soft, mucilaginous coating that offered comfort to the digestive system.

In traditional wellness practices, slippery elm was also linked with supporting throat and respiratory ease, and was regarded as a nourishing food during times of convalescence. Its mild, earthy taste and naturally smooth texture made it a versatile addition to recipes and herbal blends.

Today, slippery elm remains a respected ingredient in natural wellness traditions, often blended into warm water, smoothies, or functional recipes. Widely available in health food stores, supermarkets, and selected pharmacies, it continues to be valued as a gentle, nurturing option with a long history of traditional use.

  • Thankyou x

My senior dog had picked something up - from the gardens I suspect where other dogs are, passing blood also, he has a weak immune system so I thought here we go again! I usually go to the beach or not around other dogs to avoid this.
This was the first time I ordered this. I got the liquid the next day with charcoal tablets. I mixed it all together with slippery elm powder and aloe Vera from organic store. I orally syringed it about 4 times a day. This is usually an ordeal that takes a while to recover from (a week) dog usually gets thin and weak - this time dog better in 2 days, totally normal. I know the activated charcoal was of great assistance. Thankyou x

  • Fingers crossed!

Our 14 year old Burmese cat Kimba has had chronic diarrhoea for several months. The vet has tested him for parasites and all else and there is no clear cause.
So after trying various meal changes including bland cooked chicken, then pumpkin puree treatments .. which did not work, we ordered the Diarrhoea drips and Charcoal Treatment. He has been on these now for over ten days, and so far, there has been no clear improvement. But we will keep trying longer.
We have now added in some herbal diarrhoea treatments.
    Fingers crossed!
Kimba is also on Reno Aid, which has been great for his kidney disease.

I only used this remedy for a very short time as it arrived after Shilo's digestive upset had stopped. I gave it as a precaution and I'm very pleased that she has not had a problem since.

A particular line of devon rexes I own have a diarrhoea problem which can not be linked to anything although a myriad of tests have been done. I thought I would try this as being inside cats the discharge can be copious and smelly. What a difference this has made together with the digestion enzyme aid. Now everything is alot better, lovely logs and little smell.
