How success is chemo therapy in the long run - cure 100%
Short answer: No — chemotherapy does not cure 100% of cancers.
Its long-term success depends entirely on:

The stage at diagnosis

Whether it has spread (metastasised)

The individual patient’s biology

Whether chemo is combined with surgery or radiation
There is no universal cure rate.
What chemotherapy is actually designed to do
Chemo can aim to:

Cure (complete eradication of cancer)

Induce remission (no detectable cancer, but may return)

Control disease (slow progression)

Provide palliative benefit (improve comfort and quality of life)
Most cancers fall into categories 2–4 rather than permanent cure.
Some cancers respond very well:
Certain leukemias
Some childhood leukemias have very high long-term survival rates.
Testicular cancer (early stage)
Often very responsive.
Hodgkin lymphoma
Can have strong long-term remission rates.
Even in these cases, cure is not guaranteed — but success can be high.
When chemo is usually not curative
