Yellow Snow-rose (Rhododendron CM) has traditionally been associated with supporting animals experiencing fear or anxiety during thunderstorms.
Mineral Phosphorus (Phosphorus 200C) has traditionally been linked with general nervous system support.
Sodium Biborate (Borax 200C) has traditionally been used in relation to alleviating fear or anxiety associated with storms.
Yellow Jasmine (Gelsemium 200C) has traditionally been connected with reducing fear and promoting calmness.
Mimulus (Mimulus Guttatus) has traditionally been associated with supporting animals facing identifiable fears. Rock Rose (Cistus spp) has traditionally been used for providing reassurance and courage in situations of fear or panic.

Magnesium is a key mineral traditionally associated with calmness, resilience, and balanced nervous system function. In both animals and people, it has historically been valued for supporting comfort during times of sensitivity, including heightened responses to loud or sudden noises.
We suggest Magnesium Glycinate powder or Magnesium liquid (such as ReMag Magnesium solution). Add a small pinch of powder or several drops to meals twice daily on an ongoing basis. For larger pets, the amount may be doubled.
Practitioner Note: If magnesium is already being added to meals, a higher intake may be required, as the current level may not be sufficient to provide the desired supportive effect.

My dog, Elke, has always been very relaxed in thunderstorms, until a few months ago, when we had a very severe storm, with a huge clap of thunder, which absolutely terrified her.
