A healthy digestive system is the foundation of overall vitality. When the stomach or intestines are under strain, animals may experience discomfort such as bloating, indigestion, or changes in appetite.

This natural support blend is designed to help maintain balance in the digestive tract and ease occasional acidity. Traditionally, certain plant- and mineral-based ingredients have been valued for their soothing effects on the stomach lining, their ability to calm excess acidity, and their role in supporting healthy digestion.

By encouraging digestive comfort, this blend helps maintain nutrient absorption, energy levels, and resilience. It may be considered as part of ongoing wellbeing support for pets who experience digestive imbalance from stress, dietary changes, or environmental factors.  
             

What Can Cause Low Stomach Acid?

Healthy stomach acid is essential for proper digestion and nutrient absorption. When acid levels are too low, food may not be broken down effectively, leading to discomfort, bloating, or reflux-like symptoms. Several factors can contribute to low stomach acid:

1.   Imbalance in the gut microbiome
A healthy gut flora supports proper digestion throughout the digestive system. When the lower digestive tract lacks beneficial microbes, it can lead to overgrowth in the small intestine (SIBO) and disrupt the normal flow of digestion. Specific probiotics such as Saccharomyces boulardii (SB) have been studied for restoring healthy balance in both humans and pets.

2.  Low salt intake
Good quality salts, such as Celtic salt, help the stomach produce hydrochloric acid (HCl). A diet too low in natural salts may reduce acid production.

3.  Potassium deficiency
Potassium is vital for many functions, including digestive enzyme activity. Inadequate levels can reduce stomach acid.

4.  Zinc deficiency
Zinc supports the enzymes needed for acid production. Low zinc can contribute to poor digestion and low acid levels.

5.  Iodine deficiency
Iodine supports thyroid function, and an underactive thyroid is often linked with lower stomach acid production.

6.  Magnesium deficiency
Magnesium helps relax muscles, including the sphincter between the stomach and esophagus. A deficiency may contribute to reflux symptoms and overall digestive imbalance.

    Together with the kidney kit I use the acidity drops for my mother and daughter cats that have Renal Insufficiency. It is so easy to use I just add a few drops to their drinking water.

    My fur baby is 15 and has had Chronic Kidney Disease for 4 years. Her vomiting was 2-3 times per day and had reached the stage that I put towels all over the bed as they were easier to change than the doona covers. When the first order of Acidity arrived I followed the "Acute" instructions and, to my surprise, she didn't vomit all night long. So the next day we went on three times a day and everything's been super fine. Until the day I totally forgot her formulas. The vomiting was back - once at night and again in the morning. I went back on the "Acute" dosage for a day and now we're back to three times a day. I'm NEVER going to forget again!!!! THANKS for such a good product that actually does what it says it will do !!!!! PLUS she actually just sits there and lets me put it on her - a biiiig bonus!!!

    My 15 year old fur baby has had Chronic Kidney Disease for the last 4 years and was vomiting 1-2 times per day - always on my bed so she could show me her misery. After one day on the Acidity regulator drops, she stopped vomiting and three weeks later still has not had one episode!! She's happy, I'm happy and my laundry basket is happy !!     I use the Acidity Balance in conjunction with the Digest Aid to help Bonnie with digestion issues she has. It is so funny to have her come up to me and put her head down to get the drops on her back if she sees I have the bottle in my hand. It is as though she knows it makes her feel better. She is burping less and no longer races out side after a meal to eat grass. Bonnie says a big thank you!

    My cat, Nicky, is a CRF boy and has had bouts of nausea. Have been using this product for about two weeks and it seems to have settled down his tummy. Only one bad day during that time. I am still using it in the specified 3 times per day at 15 minute intervals on his skin. Hopefully, it will settle down to the point where I can simply add it to his water bowl. Making sure his water he is drinking is more alkaline than acidic.
