Blue Flag  (Iris Versicolor)
Wild Indigo (Baptisia)
Violet Leaves (Viola Odorata)

Red Clover (Trifolium pretense)
Parsley (petrolelinum crispum)
Comfrey (Symphytum officinale)
Cleaver Root (Galium aparine)
Poke Root (Phytolacca americana)
Olive Leaf (Olea europaea)

French Maritime Pine (Pinus pinaster)
*Research and Studies done on these herbs used
Violet Leaves (Viola Odorata) has been used for centuries as a blood purifier. As a blood cleanser may have some effects in warding off infection; uncontaminated blood may promote a higher resistance to disease and infection. A certain research showed that violet leaves are beneficial to prevent and treat the early stage of cancer. It’d due to the high antioxidant level which is able to fight the free radicals as the main factor of cancer growth. The regular consumption of violet leaves is evidently able to reduce or shrink the early stage or tumor and cancer.  *Reference: Viola odorata as a medical herb is used in liver disorders and relieving cancer pain.    *Reference: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5937098/

Blue Flag (Iris Versicolor) herb has numerous medicinal properties. It is not only helpful in aiding the purifying of the blood through the liver, and to increase bile production, but it also helps our spleen and the glands in our lymphatic system. It has high detoxifying properties and is mainly used to remove the toxic substances in the body.
Comfrey (Symphytum officinale) has several medicinal actions. It is known as a vulnerary and as an astringent. These properties make it useful in the healing of minor wounds, both internal and external. Comfrey can be used for minor injuries of the skin, where it will work to increase cell production, causing wounds to heal over rapidly. It can be used internally for stomach and duodenal ulcers, where it will have the same effect. Comfrey is also demulcent, producing a mucilage that coats and soothes irritated tissues. It will help reduce inflammation, and at the same time lessen scarring. Comfrey also has expectorant properties and has a relaxing effect on the respiratory membranes. Since it helps relax and soothe membranes, it is useful in coughs, asthma, and bronchitis. As an astringent, comfrey can also help control slow bleeding, as in the case of ulcers.  *Reference: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/221855881_Comfrey_A_Clinical_Overview

Red clover (Trifolium pretense) is widely used in traditional medicine as a remedy for menopause symptoms, asthma, whooping cough, arthritis, and even cancer. Has metabolic diuretic (stimulates the removal of waste and water from the kidneys), lymphatic (stimulates lymph movement) and expectorant (supports elimination of mucus from the lungs) properties. Because of these characteristics, red clover has been described as a 'blood purifier. *Reference:  https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/24312387. It has affinities with the respiratory, circulatory and lymphatic systems and is known as a relaxing expectorant and a "blood cleanser". It has a reputation as a remedy for coughs, skin issues, & lymphatic indications. Also Trifolium is useful for any chronic condition of toxicity, enhances the detoxification functions of the liver. The alterative properties of Trifolium give this herb great usefulness in the treatment of skin conditions.  It is of value in recurrent boils or acne, eczema, and psoriasis. Trifolium exerts some of the strongest phytoestrogenic effects among medicinal plants. Valuable for menopausal women because of its phyotoestrogenic and mineral constituents.

Cleavers Root (Galium aparine) Cleavers is believed to support the immune system and have diuretic, antispasmodic, and anti-inflammatory effects. In addition to research on cancer, cleavers has been used on skin conditions, like psoriasis. University of California Agriculture and Natural Resources, Statewide Integrated Pest Management Program.       *Reference: https://www.indigo-herbs.co.uk/natural-health-guide/benefits/cleavers  Cancer - Immunomodulators are bioactive substances that support the body's natural defenses in fighting against pre-cancerous cells. According to the American Cancer Society, "Immunomodulators are a group of drugs that mainly target the pathways that treat multiple myeloma and a few other cancers. They have many ways to work, including working on the immune system directly by turning down some proteins and turning up others". 4 Although more human studies are needed, cleavers has been shown to act as an immunomodulator by promoting the proliferation of lymphocytes (a type of white blood cell). This effect suggests the potential for immune system benefits and cancer cell reduction. 1 In addition, studies on two human tumor cells, MCF-7 and Caco-2, demonstrate the ability of cleavers extract to inhibit cancer cell growth through apoptosis (programmed cell death). 5 Of course, looking at isolated effects in the lab can't always predict what will happen in the human body, however, these results are promising for the future of breast and colon cancer research.      *Reference: https://www.verywellhealth.com/colon-cancer-4014742. Cleavers is also listed as an immunomodulatory active herb influencing the defense response of the human body. Similarly, disorders of the blood are about more than just the bone marrow. For instance, hyperlipidemia in people is surely not just a problem with the blood - it is a lifestyle problem in many cases. Although this section is all about blood and immune disorders, every condition that is listed requires a global approach to treatment. Herbs inherently provide complex actions that address more than one deranged process in the body. Mechanisms of Interest - Adaptogens - These plants have been noted both traditionally and in human clinical trials and animal studies to increase resistance to stress, which predisposes animals to disease, including infection. Adaptogens generally work by modulating the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, but many have other effects as well, such as modulation of immune function. *Reference: Immunomodulatory Activity and Phytochemical Profile of Infusions from Cleavers Herb https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32824103/
French Maritime Pine Bark (Pinus pinaster) Pycnogenol’s Unique Composition.  Pycnogenol French maritime pine bark extract is a naturally programmed combination with constant proportions of procyanidins, bioflavonoids and organic acids, which offer amazing natural properties. Maritime Pine Bark is used in our formulas to support a wide range of illnesses. It has been used for hundreds of years and works synergisticly as a potent antioxidant along with Vitamins C and E, to support cardiovascular health. - A powerful antioxidant Maritime Pine Bark is a natural antioxidant. It is an excellent source of flavonoids and has anti-inflammatory properties that work to protect the body from harmful free radicals, helps boost the immune system and strengthens blood vessel walls and capillaries. This specialist antioxidant is nearly 25 times more powerful than Vitamin C! It also boosts how the body uses Vitamin C. - Fight off a common cold Maritime Pine Bark was able to reduce the duration (i.e. the number of days) and severity (i.e. the intensity of the symptoms you experience) of colds in a study. Lost working days were significantly decreased in the group that was supplementing and 'significantly reduced the number of complications'. They also showed that there was less need to use other compounds whilst using the Maritime Pine Bark. - Balance blood sugars Maritime Pine Bark showed that it could reduce high blood sugar and help with pre-diabetes, or diabetes. Participants in the tests found improvement in blood sugar control when pine bark extract was combined with diabetic medications. In the studies the insulin levels didn't change, but glucose levels were reduced. - Improve cognitive function there’s evidence that Maritime Pine Bark may be a promising nootropic for various groups of people, including middle-aged professionals, students, and people with mild cognitive decline like brain fog. A clinical trial of 60 health professionals found that Maritime Pine Bark extract (150 mg/day) improved cognitive function. This included attention levels, alertness and performance. Research also showed sustained attention, memory, executive functions, mood, and reduce oxidative stress. - Reduce Allergies In studies where the participants took Maritime Pine Bark for at least 5 weeks prior to flu season, it was shown to reduce hay fever symptoms. In another clinical trial of 76 people with allergic asthma, the extract may reduce symptom scores and circulating leukotrienes are reduced and lung function was improved. - Improve exercise and physical performance Pine bark extract has a significant impact on nitric oxide (NO) levels in the body, which are responsible for vasodilation and improving blood flow. It also showed promising result to decrease free radicals in the body after exercise (which cause muscle fatigue and damage). It also reduced muscle cramps and pain. *References: Pharmaceutical and nutraceutical effects of Pinus pinaster bark extract - S. Iravani and B. In conjunction with the SUPPLEMEMT
* Glycine Amino acid powder may preserve muscle mass in wasting conditions, such as cancer, malnutrition, Liver, heart, wellness for all species .

DOSAGE:
Small pet, Cat, Toy dog –  Add ¼ teaspoon ( a good pinch of powder)

Equine, Med to Large Dog - Add 1/2 teaspoon of the powder in daily meals twice a day if possible.

Studies done

The non-essential amino acid, glycine, is often considered biologically neutral, but some studies indicate that it could be an effective anti-inflammatory agent.

Since inflammation is central to the development of cancer cachexia, glycine supplementation represents a simple, safe and promising treatment. We tested the hypothesis that glycine supplementation reduces skeletal muscle inflammation and preserves muscle mass in tumor-bearing mice.

To induce cachexia, CD2F1 mice received a subcutaneous injection of PBS (control, n = 12) or C26 tumor cells (n = 32) in accordance with the protocols developed by Murphy et al. [Murphy KT, Chee A, Trieu J, Naim T, Lynch GS. Importance of functional and metabolic impairments in the characterization of the C-26 murine model of cancer cachexia. Dis Models Mech 2012;5(4):533-545.]. Subcutaneous injections of glycine (n = 16) or PBS (n = 16) were administered daily for 21 days and at the conclusion of treatment, selected muscles, tumor and adipose tissue were collected and prepared for Real-Time RT-PCR or western blot analysis.

Glycine attenuated the loss of fat and muscle mass, blunted increases in markers of inflammation (F4/80, P = 0.01 & IL-6 mRNA, P = 0.01) and atrophic signaling (MuRF, P = 0.047; atrogin-1, P = 0.04; LC3B, P = 0.06 and; BNIP3, P = 0.10) and tended to attenuate the loss of body mass (P = 0.07), muscle function (P = 0.06), and oxidative stress (GSSG/GSH, P = 0.06 and DHE, P = 0.07) seen in tumor-bearing mice. Preliminary studies that compared the effect of glycine administration with isonitrogenous doses of alanine or citrulline showed that the observed protective effect was specific to glycine. Glycine protects skeletal muscle from cancer-induced wasting and loss of function, reduces the oxidative and inflammatory burden, and reduces the expression of genes associated with muscle protein breakdown in cancer cachexia. Importantly, these effects were glycine specific.

Vet is amazed how well she is doing

5 months ago my 5 year old ragdoll was given 3 weeks to 6 months to live after being diagnosed with intestinal lymphoma and was sent home with prednisone.
After much searching I came across this, it was exactly what I was looking for with the combination of herbal medicine.
We weaned off the prednisone and after 4 months her vet was surprised at how well she is doing and even questioned her diagnosis as she expected things to have progressed, instead she has gained over a kg in weight and is healthier than ever.
We are still working on it with some other detox formulas added in and each time we do a different detox there is a dramatic improvement. I'm starting to build up a nice little collection of formulas now and wish I had known about this place years ago!
